Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Lingoora (the "App"). By downloading or using Lingoora, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

Using Lingoora

Lingoora is provided to help you communicate across languages. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes, and not to use it to harass, deceive, or harm others.

Translation accuracy

Lingoora uses third-party AI models to transcribe and translate speech. Machine translation can be wrong, incomplete, or miss context — especially with idioms, slang, accents, or background noise. Don't rely on Lingoora for translations where a mistake could cause serious harm (for example, medical, legal, or safety-critical situations). Lingoora is provided "as is," without any warranty that translations will be accurate.

Third-party services

Lingoora's core functionality depends on third-party services, including OpenAI and Supabase. We aren't responsible for outages, changes, or errors originating from those services, though we'll do our best to keep the App working reliably.

Your content

You're responsible for what you say and translate through Lingoora. Don't use the App to process content you don't have the right to share, or that violates someone else's rights.

Beta software

If you're using a TestFlight build, you're using pre-release software. Beta builds may be unstable, may change without notice, and may stop working when a testing period ends or a new build is released.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lingoora and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including damages resulting from translation errors or service interruptions.

Changes

We may update these terms as the App evolves. Continuing to use Lingoora after a change means you accept the updated terms.
